Dorothy Grice, MD
Mount Sinai
Dr. Grice is Director of the Tics, OCD and Related Disorders Program, within the Division of Tics, OCD and Related Disorders (DTOR) in the Department of Psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Grice’s research program focuses on the phenomenology, genetics and biology of tic disorders, OCD and autism spectrum disorders.
Sidney Hankerson, MD, MBA
Mount Sinai
Dr. Hankerson is Vice Chair of Community Engagement and Director of Mental Health Equity Research at Mount Sinai. His research focuses on reducing mental health inequities for Black Americans by partnering with community- and faith-based organizations.
Eric A. Storch, PhD
Baylor College of Medicine
Dr. Storch serves as a Principal Investigator of the LATINO grant for the Baylor College of Medicine site. Dr. Storch is Professor and McIngvale Presidential Endowed Chair in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine. He serves as Vice Chair and Head of Psychology, and co-directs the OCD program at Baylor with Dr. Wayne Goodman.
James Crowley, PhD
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Dr. Crowley is Professor of Genetics and Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research focuses on psychiatric genomics and includes molecular genetic, epidemiological and twin studies of several psychiatric disorders, including obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), Tourette syndrome, and anorexia nervosa.
Ogechi "Cynthia" Onyeka, PhD
Baylor College of Medicine
Dr. Onyeka is a Postdoctoral Associate in the OCD Program in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine. Her research and clinical interests center on understanding risk and resilience factors for youth of color experiencing internalizing symptoms (anxiety, trauma, OCD), critical consciousness, and positive youth development. She embraces a Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) approach to involve community members in her research, aiming to leverage research to support the communities and populations they serve.
Slayton Jefferson Underwood, MPH
Mount Sinai
Slayton Jefferson Underwood serves as the Assistant Director of Data Management for the Seaver Autism Center, as well as Senior Adjunct Faculty at St. Francis College. He also currently serves as President of NYSUT Local 7965 union.
Dalia Marquez, BA, BMus
Mount Sinai
Dalia Marquez serves as a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Tics, OCD, and Related Disorders Program and the Seaver Autism Center at Mount Sinai. She received her Bachelor of Arts with Honors in psychology and her Bachelor of Music at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research interests include identifying and mitigating socioeconomic and cultural factors that exacerbate challenging aspects of neurodevelopmental disabilities in children. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
Iasha Williams, BA
Baylor College of Medicine
Iasha serves as the Research Coordinator for the BELONG Team for the Baylor College of Medicine site. Iasha received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Poverty, Justice, and Human Capabilities from Rice University. Her current research interests include mood-related disorders and trauma in children in adolescents. She hopes to pursue a Ph.D. in clinical psychology with the aim of serving child and adolescent populations.
Juliana Avery, BA
Baylor College of Medicine
Juliana Avery serves as the lab manager for Dr. Eric Storch at Baylor College of Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology and anthropology from the University of Alabama. Her research interests include the development of anxiety and OCD treatments. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in clinical psychology.
Malini Bommiasamy, PhD
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Dr. Bommiasamy is a Research Project Manager with the Department of Genetics at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) and works with Dr. Crowley to support his ongoing research projects. Malini obtained her PhD from Loyola University in Chicago, IL.
